Challenge
Attracting attendees to a free Monday night event in early December while building excitement for the main event happening three months later.
Approach
Using YAMM for a targeted email marketing campaign, I optimized outreach based on people who attended previous E-AI events as well as the networks of the event’s board members. I also managed the backend of the Point of Sale ticketing system, efficiently troubleshooting issues to ensure a smooth check-in process.
Outcomes
We invited 200 people and 130 showed up, creating a strong turnout for a Monday night in December. Attendees actively engaged by submitting ideas to our programming team, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. The night delivered a laid-back yet dynamic atmosphere, setting the stage for excitement leading up to the main event in February 2025.
Best moment
Watching attendees have fun as they stepped up for their photos in front of Liv, the photographer we hired for the evening. Some made faces while others danced. Days later, our team enhanced some of those photos using AI tools.
